I have enjoyed my time here at VPC. After studying 8 months my English has improved a lot, thanks to the quality of the teachers and programs. I have also met interesting people from all over the world here at VPC.
  STUDENT AMBASSADOR AWARD FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Vancouver Premier College would like to invite students from all over the world to come and study English in Canada's most beautiful city. At VPC we want to create a fun, multicultural atmosphere where students can share their experiences and learn from others. For this reason VPC has some great opportunities for many of our international students.

The Student Ambassador Award for English Language will pay for 30% of your tuition fees for up to 16 weeks. The awards are given to students who come from countries not yet represented at the college. Please contact our marketing department for information about which countries are eligible.

As a student ambassador your job will be to represent your country. We will ask you to provide information about your country's culture and history, and to share this information with other students and teachers. We would love to learn more about where you are from! You can bring photographs, books or interesting artifacts that are found only in your country. We would like you to present this information to staff and students or organize the materials into a display, giving everyone the chance to learn about your country.

To apply, first contact our marketing department to see if you are eligible. Then, please send the following to us:
  1. Completed application form
  2. Application fee
  3. Completed Student Ambassador Award application form
If you are accepted VPC will send you the Student Ambassador Award Agreement, which explains the responsibilities of the ambassador. You should sign the Agreement and send it back to us.

Eligibility
  • You must be an international student applying for your first ESL course at VPC.
  • You can apply from any country or if you are already studying in Canada.
  • You must send your application form and application fee to the College before or at the same time as applying for the award.
Expectations and Procedures
  • You will be told if you can apply for the award after contacting the Marketing department.
  • You must write a short essay on "Why I want to study English."
  • If your application is accepted you must sign the "Student Ambassador Agreement" and send it to the college.
  • You will be expected to do some research in your own country before coming to Canada.
Important Note: Scholarships can only be used to pay tuition.
